Community Support at Marshalls
We care about our communities
At Marshalls, we work to give women access to the good stuff every day in our stores across the country. We also work to do the same in their lives.
For many reasons women say the things they want can feel just out of reach. According to Marshalls research, at least 32% of women surveyed do not feel like they have access to the resources they need to live their ideal life and 1 in 2 women surveyed do not have a mentor. That’s why we’re building a suite of programming to help bridge the access gap for women between where they are now and where they know they’re capable of going.
From The Marshalls Good Stuff Social Club and The Marshalls Good Stuff Social Club Accelerator Program to our charity partnerships, with non-profits like Girls Inc., Savvy Ladies, and MENTOR, we’re helping women feel financially empowered, embrace their self-worth, build valuable community connections, and show up with confidence. Through in-store fundraising programs, local store support of community events and corporate donations, Marshalls, together with our generous customers, has helped raise funds and awareness for many charitable organizations that work to improve the lives of others.
Our in-store fundraising partnerships:
Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF)
Since 1994, Marshalls has supported Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) through in-store fundraisers at checkout every September, donations from the TJX Foundation, and store support of local Breakthrough T1D chapters. Through these combined efforts, Marshalls and its customers have donated over $45 million to Breakthrough T1D, supporting their imperative mission to find a cure for diabetes. For more information on Breakthrough T1D visit www.breakthrought1d.org.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Since 2005, Marshalls has been proud to support the annual St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign through in-store fundraisers at checkout every January and donations from the TJX Foundation. These donations help support the hospital's research for both cures and treatments to help children with cancer and other deadly diseases. To date, we have helped raise over $6 million, which has been donated to St. Jude. For more information on St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital visit www.stjude.org.
Alzheimer's Association
Since 2013, Marshalls has supported the Alzheimer's Association through an annual in-store fundraiser, donations from the TJX Foundations, store support of local chapters and participation in the Walk to End Alzheimer's National Team Program. These combined efforts have resulted in a donation of more than $7.5 million to the Alzheimer's Association, supporting their mission to eliminate Alzheimer's disease and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
